Nerf N-strike Elite Rayven Mod Guide (Lock Removal) (And Mod Overview Video)

                
This isn’t anything fancy like lipo’s or LED’s, but simple lock removal.  Sometimes, it makes your blaster easier to use.  (Example: Stryfe pressure plates should always be removed.)

                Supplies:

-          Philips Head Screwdriver and/or Philips Head Drill
-          Duct Tape or Electrical Tape
                First, you have to open up your Rayven:


 (picture 1)      There are 4 parts that you have to remove.  Let’s start with lock A.

Remove the screws shown and then remove the top orange plate to get this:  (Don’t lose the screws or the orange plate)

Red Outlined Parts:
-          Remove these two parts of the lock.  The sensor and the lock itself (Picture below)
Green Outlined Parts:
-          Keep the mag release lever and the spring.

After your remove these parts, move onto the other plate.

Red Outlined Part:
-          Remove this plate
Yellow Outlined Part:
-          Carefully tape down the lock using the Duct or Electrical Tape

Yellow Outlined Part:
-          Carefully tape down the lock using the Duct or Electrical Tape

Red Outlined Part:
-          CAREFULLY unscrew the screw in the red box and take off the rubber darts skirt.  BE CAREFUL that you don’t break the wires.  I again Repeat the Disclaimer: I am NOT responsible for anything that may happen to your gun while following this mod guide.
-          You will have to do this on both sides of the flywheel cage to fully remove the rubber dart skirt.
You will in the end throw away these four parts:
     1.    The Rubber Dart Skirt (Picture 7)
     2.    The Orange Switch Plate (Picture 5)
     3.    The Sensor and the lock that goes with it. (Picture 4)
