Nerf N-strike Abbreviation

Yay!  My first informational post:

Nerf Abbreviations:
You have:
AS.V., AS-6
CS-6, CS-35
REV-6, RV-10,
and so many more.  What do they mean?

Lets look at the basics:
The nerf Systems are titled, related to that blaster: Basics:
E = Electronic
AS = Air System
IX = A gun with an indirect (reverse) plunger tube system
EX = A gun with a direct plunger system
CS = Clip System
REV = Revolver
RV = Electronic Revolver (Don't ask me why they decided to drop out the E when it is electronic)
BF = Belt Fed
.V = Vessel

So combine them to find the uncommon ones:

EBF = Electronic Belt Fed
ECS = Electronic Clip System
AS.V = Air System Vessel

Then we get to - (Place Number Here).  This means the number of darts the gun is meant to fire stock from the box...a.k.a, how many darts would be included in a normal package.  Maverick was REV - 6, as it can hold 8 darts.  Rapidstrike is a CS-18, coming with an 18 dart clip and 18 darts.  (Missing the "E" Hasbro for some odd reason.)  And so on.

Hopefully this clears it up for those of you who do not know what they mean.

Sincerely,
TNC
