Nerf Review: Nerf Rival Apollo XV-700

This is starting the "Blast from the Past" series.  Blast from the Past blasters are older, outdated blasters.  More recent blasters will be posted under "Modern Review"

Yeah, it's old and outclassed, but I am going to review it anyways as it was a cheap startup option with varying ammunition capacity.

GENERAL INFO:

Included: One 7 round mag and 7 rival rounds.  Blaster.

MY IDEAS OF THE BLASTER:

The re-paint blaster of the Rival Series:  Deadpool (upcoming as of 3/5/18), Boba Fett, Phantom Corp, Team Red, and Team Blue.

Now outclassed by the Helios, this blaster was the first “starter” for the rival series.

This blaster included a measly 7 rounds, and is probably outclassed by the Kronos.  Why?  The prime is generally said to be uncomfortable.  RoF is rather limited because of the priming style.

But, with that being said, give me a retaliator any day.  Retal’s are cheaper and easier to modify (To my knowledge.)

(My largest surprise with the apollo was that when the deadpool release came out, no one in the NIC wanted it at the time!)

RANGES:

55-60 Feet Flat.  Tested with stock rival ammunition

ACCURACY:

20-25 feet is accurate, thanks to the HIR technology.

SPECIAL ITEMS:
