Review: Zuru X-shot Scope

Review: Zuru X-shot Scope

GENERAL INFO:
Included in various blaster packages.  Sometimes with other blasters.
It included a scope, stock, gun, 6 darts, and 6 cans in the individual blaster package I got way back when.
At times, it has included more darts, and two smaller blasters.

(More after the break)

MY IDEAS OF THE BLASTER:
The blaster is ideal for younger children to just play with in the back yard.  Easy to cock, easy to use, and tons of fun.

It cannot be used in much more than the average backyard war, however.  I invented a breach mod on this blaster that hasn’t affected range or accuracy at all, but decreases load time, making it usable in a larger friends nerf war.  My mod overview can be seen in the other post I posted.

The blaster’s handle is in a backwards, slanted position, not far from a 45-degree angle.

The pump grip is comfortable for smaller hands, but may be too small for larger hand.

I used to have to break the barrel over my leg to get it apart easily, back when I was smaller

Mod Potential:
AR can be removed by being disassembled and drilling out the air restrictor with a drill and a 1/2 inch bit.  Also, creating a breach mod keeps the same cool sniper aesthetics, but gets rid of annoying reload time.

RANGES:
According to the box, it is supposed to get 55-foot ranges with excel darts.  When angled, this blaster surpasses that with 30 Feet flat, but achieving 65 feet angled (Tested with off-brand elites).  Ten feet more than the box says.

(For these tests, the barrel was locked on to the blaster.  The barrel space is so wide; however, I doubt that there is much (If any barrel drag) difference between firing with the barrel on or off.)

ACCURACY:
Can hit a 3 ½ inch door frame at approximately 20 feet.  With it’s 30 feet flat range, I would say that is pretty good.

SPECIAL ITEMS:
None particularly.

Hope you guys enjoyed the review!  Please also check out the mod guide.

Sincerely,

The Nerf CommenTATER
