MY IDEAS OF THE BLASTER:
Courtesy of Nerf Wikia
The blaster is widely known as one of the best blasters for modifying along with the Longshot and Nite-finder.  The Stryfe is nice for beginners, because it has a simple internal operation platform.

The handle is very comfortable.  The trigger pull is also rather easy.  The blaster is nice and compact and can be used as a side-arm on heavier loadouts.  This blaster may very well have the most kits released for it, and there are MANY different parts, kits, and upgrades that can be purchased for this blaster.

(More after the break)

Modification Potential
As stated above, there are MANY, MANY kits for this blaster.  The sky is really the limit.  You want 150+ FPS?  That can be arranged.  How about a Military rifle look?  They have kits for that.  You want both!  You got it.  Your budget is the only real limit to what can be done to this blaster.

There is SO much modification potential for this blaster that I cannot begin to explain it.  Worker, Monkey Mods, Out of Dart, OFP, F2, all these are suppliers that make nerf Stryfe parts.  These beasts can be the workhorse of a loadout.

If you don’t like semi-automatic blasters, there are kits sold that can give you full auto perfection.  How about a spring-flywheeler?  Try a Hammer-Stryfe mod.  As I said, the possibilities are ENDLESS.

RANGES:
26-30 feet flat.  I had one dart hit the wall, because my basement is not the best testing area…
Outside, my darts reached the same range flat.  52-53 feet Angled on a good shot.

These are recorded with off-brand elites and FULLY CHARGED, Non-rechargeable Duracell batteries.
Any nerf flywheeler stock is junk (as seen below).  When you find one, take it, and then modify it as shown above.

ACCURACY:
Accuracy is rather poor, partially due to the fact that it is a flywheel blaster.

This blaster has withstood the test of time and is beloved by the modding community.  If you see one at a thrift store/flea market/garage sale, DON’T PASS IT UP.

If you want an example of what can happen to these, view my modified Stryfe review, where you can see a small taste of what can be achieved: https://tncommentater.blogspot.com/2018/03/nerf-mod-review-first-overhauled-stryfe.html.

To the Stryfe, I give a resounding recommendation.
