MY IDEAS OF THE BLASTER:
The Elite Alpha Trooper
All around solid blaster.  I made this one of my springer primaries.

The blaster is nice and compact.  It includes a decent 12 rounds, has decent range, and is easy to use out of box.  It even has an extra dart storage underneath the grip.

It's downsides are few: It can only take 5-7 kilogram springs, due to it's priming rod bending after too much weigh.  It's jam door is small.  The blaster does jam if you remove the locks and accidentally double load.  It does not take double loading well at ALL, and is probably the Alpha Trooper's largest downfall.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR USAGE: You also have to remember to go the WHOLE way forward, and the WHOLE back for it to be fully cocked.

Modification Potential
A good idea is to remove the locks, because the locks can be annoying, but be careful when using the blaster.

This blaster can also take a buzz bee tek 6 springs and other springs, but you have to be careful, because spring loads that are too heavy can bend the stock priming rod.  Orange Mod Works sells decent upgrades springs.

RANGE:
Standard elite ranges.  65-70 feet angled, and 35-40 feet flat.  (Ranges adjusted for AR Removal and a breech seal improvement)(And from what I read, those ranges are about correct)

ACCURACY:
With an off-brand elite, you can easily hit a human at 20 feet, making this a great go-to blaster for HvC.  Accuracy still lacks.  Elite and off-brand elites all stink when it comes to accuracy.  Accustrike/accufake is the way to go.

CONCLUSION:
This blaster is recommended by many people in the NIC, and if you can get your hands on one, it is worth getting.  The blaster is 40+ dollars, so if you find it at around 30, it is definitely worth picking up.
The pump action and slam-fire results in decent RoF, and adding in a 5-7 kg spring (The limit for the stock priming rod.) can make it hold it's own against other modified blasters.  Nothing like the "Flywheel Master-race," but it does hold its own.

Sincerely,

The Nerf CommenTATER
