N-strike Switchshot EX-1 Mod Guide/Overview

N-strike Switchshot EX-1 Mod Guide/Overview

Please look at the video.  At 00:00:55 I explain what mods I did, and finish at 00:01:29.

The Basic tools required are:

    -   Philips head screwdriver (One that fits the screws and fits down the holes)
    -   Electrical Tape (A ¼ of an inch piece)
    -   Scissors to cut a small bit of electrical tape.
    -  Needle-Nose Pliers (Or drill and a 12 inch drill bit of you are a pro)

Basics of the mod:

1.       Open up ONLY THE TOP PORTION (The part that can be swapped with a Wii Remote)
2.       Unscrew all 4 screws and open the blaster
3.       Separate the barrel, and AR housing from the plunger tube.
4.       Discard the AR and rip off the dart post.  You can hollow out the dart post platform as well, and make it look like the switch shot in the video.
5.       Put everything back together and close up the blaster.

Please view the whole video below, where I go over the steps above and take it a step further.

Remember, I am NOT, I repeat NOT, responsible for anything that may happen to your nerf gun, while following my mod guide.

I hope you enjoy the mod guide, and if you wish to contact with other ideas or have comments, please comment below.

Sincerely,
The Nerf CommenTATER

Loadout 3: Clip System: Defense

Loadout 3: Clip System: Defense
Loadout Name: Mobile Heavy defender

Primary:
Full, Semi-Automatic Nerf blaster, Clip System: Hyperfire (me), Stampede ECS-18, Rapid-strike CS-18, Hail-fire, Rayven, Nerf Cam ECS-12, Stryfe, etc.

(Could use a slam-fire springer)
Alpha Trooper CS-12(18, 6), Raider CS-35, Rampage, etc.

(I really should have pictured the Hyperfire instead)

Secondary:
Something smaller, behind a barrier, you wouldn’t need much.  Hammershot, sweet revenges, and strongarms should do well.  You can go as low as a fire-strike.  You just need time to reload a clip.

Other Weapons:
Any other nerf blasters you wish to put on, but the more carried, the less mobile
Other Equipment:
   1.       Large number of clips.  I have 4 clips (18), and 1 drum (25).
   2.       Large number of darts.  100 darts minimum in my case.  72 for the 18 clips, 25 for the drum, and 3 for the Firestrike.
   3.       Eye Protection – An essential
   4.       (Optional Vest) Mine is modified to hold 4 18 clips without them falling while running, and also a sword in the back, like the original N-strike version.

Purpose

To defend your base and even provide cover fire for teammates going into the fields of battle, and be somewhat mobile.

I recently attended another Humans vs. Cucumbers game.  I didn't get to stay long, but I did have a lot of fun.

A Random HvC Game Report -- 10/10/17

A Random HvC Report:
I have been playing nerf games recently.  This is JUST A POST TO INSPIRE TWO THINGS:
1. Game Styles You may like our style, and want to try it.
2. Blasters You may want a blaster like one of the ones listed.

Magstrike AS-10 vs. Rapid-fire AS-20

Magstrike AS-10 vs. Rapid-fire AS-20
This is a round between Nerf most recent air system blasters.  (Both Discontinued).  The Magstrike is a classic and one of my personal favorites.  Both it and the Rapid-fire are both sci-fi weapons.  Both look cool!  (Continue Reading)

Loadouts: Introduction
These are some loadout ideas I thought of.  Outback nerf has a similar loadout post type, which inspired me to do this, in fact, a lot of blog is inspired by Outback nerf.  Shout out to outback nerf and how great they are.  This loadout series is MAINLY for inspiration, unless you have exactly what I have:

Nerf N-strike Elite Firestrike Mod Guide (Air Seal Improvement and AR-Removal for Stefans) AND A BONUS!!!

Firestrike AR Removal, Air Seal improvement, Sanding AR housing
Nitefinder
Many moons ago…I got a Nite-finder.  I loved the nitefinder.  At the time, all of the nerf guns that I owned had up to 6 shots total.  (Mavericks, Vigilions, etc.)  This is before I was truly into nerf, although me and my friends would play with nerf every now and then.  My top three favorites were the Vigilion, the Nitefinder, and the Clone Trooper deluxe blaster.  (All of them have since departed my ownership).
Firestrike

Move up to less than a year ago.  I got a Hyperfire and Strongarm, joined a few wars, and was starting to get the hang of things.  Then I ran into the Firestrike.  I haven’t before said on this blog, but I like a compact, box shaped blaster.  Firestrike is right up my alley, considering I already liked the Nitefinder (Firestrike’s older brother).
