Nerf Review: Nerf N-strike Maverick REV-6
GENERAL INFO:
This nerf blaster was released in
MANY different color designs: 7 total. In fact, the crimson strike series is
the ONLY n-strike series that does NOT have the maverick. The seven types of mavericks are:
Standard Yellow
Blue w/ a yellow barrel
Clear Series
Sonic Series
Gear Up
Whiteout Series
Elite Repaint
They all included either Sonic
Micro, or Micro Darts. The only
exception is that the Elite Repaint, which includes elite darts
MY IDEAS OF THE BLASTER:
This was my very first nerf
blaster. I bought it and 36 other micro
darts. I lost 1 of them either the sameday, or close to next day.
At the time, a Maverick was a
beast! It was the coolest nerf blaster! Now days, it is overshadowed by Strongarms, Hammershot,
and better nerf blasters with better range.

RANGES:
The one I used…stinks…flat: 10-25 feet consistent. Angled: 30-35
feet consistent the higher quality of the two N-strike Elite darts I used
in testing reached 40 feet approximately.
ACCURACY:
This blaster, with whistlers and
micro darts can be really accurate, if you have the range to hit your target
that is. Using two whistlers, two micro
darts, and two elite darts, I was able
to hit a 3 ½ inch target 4 times.
Twice with whistlers and micros, and none with an elite dart (Big
surprise? Not really.). Stock, this was
a decent blaster when it comes to accuracy.
Why, because of terrible power.
SPECIAL ITEMS:
Can fit any type of elite-sized
dart that doesn’t have any extra fins (Screamin’ Sonic Micro darts Sonic Jet Darts)
It is streamline, micro, sonic
micro, elite, accustrike (To my knowledge), and dart tag compatible.
In short, this blaster’s time has
come to an end, but is still iconic. It
is forever immortalized. Ladies
and gentlemen, the N-strike Maverick REV-6.
Sincerely,
The Nerf CommenTATER
